What I find very unique about this book is that it is specifically for women. The author starts by encouraging you to break down your mental money barriers and gives plenty of compelling evidence to ones that are specific to women and why they exist in our culture. Why, as women, do we not think it’s ok to be rich and judge those that are? Have you ever stopped to think about that? Men don’t typically do this. Duffield-Thomas will help you understand these reasons and how to overcome these barriers.

Duffield-Thomas holds money-mindset bootcamps too, and it sounds like the book is the pared down, self-paced version of those. I like that she says the reason she wrote the book is to help make this information much more affordable and accessible, which gets bonus points from GSF.

My results: While reading the book, I was able to clearly identify my own money blocks and used a technique she offers to clear them. I actually feel so much better about my money blocks after practicing the technique. They aren’t completely gone, but I’ve made progress. Clearing your money blocks are key to improving your ability to attract wealth and abundance. Also, I got a lot more inspiration about what I wanted to do with GSF and how to grow the business from this book. Finally, this book gave me a boost of confidence that I can become a business person without the business background. Overall, I would say it was a great investment of my time to read (it was a pretty quick read), and I will keep the book handy to go back and review as needed.
